France Telecom’s enterprise services unit, Orange Business Services today announced that it has achieved Cisco’s Gold Certification in India which is considered to be the highest level of certification available under Cisco Channel Partner Program.

The certification took into consideration factors such as personnel, support, and specialization requirements qualifying the company to sell, install, and support Cisco solutions anywhere in the country. Through this certification Orange becomes the 10th Gold certified partner of Cisco in India.

Speaking on this achievement, Orange Business Services CEO Sanjay Vig said, "We are pleased to announce our status as a Cisco Gold Certified partner. The investment that Orange Business Services has made in achieving this level of expertise is a demonstration of our commitment to the region as an integrated communications service provider. This certification will directly benefit our Indian and global customers by being supported by Cisco and Orange for their network and network related services requirements.”

The Gold Certification is valid for a year after which Orange Business Services will need to be recertified.
