Samsung Electronics launched 8 new advanced printer models in the Laser Printer, Multi Function Printer and Network Printer categories, including the World’s Smallest Laser Printer-ML1666 in the Indian market.

The company also announced that it is targeting a 30% market share and a 58% rise in shipments in 2010.

Announcing the launch of the 2010 range of Laser Printers, stated Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Director, Mobile & IT, Samsung Electronics,” Printers, LCD Monitors and Note PCs are the growth drivers for our IT Business this year. Within the printing space, our enhanced lineup across both the entry level as well as the mid/hi end coupled with our enhanced distribution this year, especially at the Tier 2 and the Tier 3 channel levels, should see us emerge as a strong No.2 Player in the market.”

The smallest printer, ML-1666 is priced at Rs.5,499.

The MRP of the new models is ML 1911 for Rs.6499, ML 2526 for Rs. 8999 and  ML 2581 N for Rs. 12999.

The MRP of Samsung Multi Function Printers is SCX 4601 at Rs. 9999,  SCX 4623FH at Rs.14499.
