Airtel lines up marketing campaign to cash in on Champions League Sponsorship

Bharti Airtel which has bagged the rights as the key sponsor for the upcoming Twenty 20 Champions League has lined up big marketing campaigns around the same.

One of the campaigns is to be delivered over YouTube and asks participants to demonstrate their quotient for being a ‘Real Fan’ by capturing video on mobile or video camera showcasing their dance, cheer, chant and so on and asking friends and peers to vote for them. Airtel says that this particular section on YouTube has already witnessed over 500 video uploads and over 70,000 page views.

Airtel will also run a 360 degrees marketing campaign to promote the same including a 3 series TVC campaign designed and developed by its media agency, Rediff in association with Bang Bang Films that is serving as the Production House.

The company will also compliment this campaign with BTL activities in cities such as Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad.
