Idea Cellular said that it has raised Rs.5,770 crore for the payment to be made for 3G spectrum in 11 circles.

"We have tied up all the funds required to pay for the 3G spectrum. It is a mix of loans from banks, existing debt and cash balance. We have to pay Rs 5770 crore", Idea Cellular CFO Akshya Moondra told PTI.

The company is now planning to raise Rs.2,550 crore from overseas markets.
